KEEP SAFETY IN SIGHT

Marine Safety Institute is committed to preventing waterfront accidents and saving lives through safety education and the distribution of lifesaving equipment such as automated external defibrillators (AEDs) to help keep safety in sight.

Sudden cardiac arrest is a leading cause of death in the United States, with over 350,000 people experiencing it each year. Response time is critical in these situations and having immediate access to an AED can greatly increase the chance of survival. This is especially true in waterfront areas where many people gather to swim, boat, and engage in other recreational activities.

Unfortunately, many waterfront areas do not have easy access to AEDs. That's why we are reaching out to you today to request your help in providing these lifesaving devices to our community.

Your donation, no matter how small, will help us purchase and distribute AEDs to areas in need. We place AEDs in strategic locations along the waterfront in an effort to keep safety in sight, where they will be easily accessible in case of emergency. Having lifesaving tools immediately available and knowing how to use them properly can save lives. In addition, if you are an AED manufacturer or distributor willing to donate AEDs at cost or reduced rates to public safety programs, we would put them to good use in the community.

Your generosity will not only help save lives but also give peace of mind to those who enjoy our beautiful waterfront areas.

Thank you for your consideration.

Immediate access dramatically decreases the time it takes to start providing aid, increasing odds of survival.
